Neil was incredibly patient, supportive and confident throughout every lesson, which really helped me build my confidence and skills behind the wheel. Always explaining things clearly when i didn't quite understand and never made me feel pressured when I made mistakes or asked questions.
Thanks to Neils guidance and encouragement, I passed my driving test first time with ZERO minors! If you're learning to drive and want someone who is patient, reassuring and knows exactly how to prepare you for the test and subsequently driving solo, I would 100% recommend Neil!
I would definitely recommend Neil as your driving instructor! He was always really patient and understanding, especially when I became stressed, and never made me feel under pressure. He was a great teacher and always explained things clearly, which really helped me build my confidence. I also really appreciated being able to have a rant or a laugh during lessons, which made the lessons feel much more relaxed and enjoyable.

Neil was a great instructor who gave very clear directions and instructions. He was very patient and helped me figure things out myself and gave me loads of confidence. The mock tests were tough but in the end it made my actual test feel really easy and I passed first time. I would highly recommend Neil as an instructor. Thank you Neil.

Neil is an incredible driving instructor - he's very patient and worked well with things I was struggling on. In my case it was parking, he made sure i was confident and gave me thorough instructions in order to get it right.
Neil made me feel confident in what i was doing with consistent reassurance. He focuses on the positives rather than negatives which helped me change my mindset and helped me to stay calm whilst driving.
The lessons were always perfectly suited to what i needed to improve my driving.

I was recommended to use Neil as my Driving Instructor by most of the ‘Tommies’ 1st XV rugby team who had all passed first time with him. It was absolutely the right decision. I found driving particularly difficult to begin with and thought about quitting but following discussions with Neil made me believe in myself. I found the Mock Tests really tough but it focused my mind to where I needed to be. I requested some additional lessons which Neil went out of his way to accommodate and, despite my test day nerves, I passed 1st time. Thank you so much Neil, I can't thank you enough.
I highly recommend Neil as a driving instructor. I had a last-minute test booked due to a cancellation (as is often the case nowadays) and felt woefully underprepared — I hadn’t driven in over three months and had no experience in the Gloucester area. My usual instructor was unavailable, and after reaching out to Neil he kindly stepped in, rearranging his week to take me on at such short notice.

Neil was absolutely brilliant as my Driving Instructor. Each lesson was planned out meticulously following me completing my ‘Reflective Log’ on the Total Drive App which is brilliant. The structured lessons were excellent whilst fun and I enjoyed every lesson. The Mock Test practice was tough but it made the actual Driving Test feel easy and I passed 1st time. Neil is a really good Driving Instructor. He knew exactly when to ‘Instruct’ me and when to ‘Prompt’ me. As I gained more experience, I often drove ‘independently’ which all helped me to learn to drive quicker and I passed my Driving Test on my 1st attempt. I have already recommended Neil to my friends.
This is Gurveer, one of Neil's driving students who recently passed. I believe Neil is a very nice, helpful, useful Driving Instructor (ADI). I started from the basics with him and slowly progressed, I was doing alright had some decent skills but wasn't applying it correctly in some scenarios on the road and not adapting/reacting to hazards early enough. With just 2 weeks to go before my test Neil went out of his way to add an extra 2 lessons to ensure I was as prepared as I could be for my Driving Test. I passed in Cheltenham with ease and only 2 minors (driving faults). So thanks to Neil's help and expertise in letting me know that I needed more practice and refinement I passed and I would not of been able to do it without him. The main things that I learnt were being a considerate driver and always being aware of the situation around you on the roads. Thank you very much Neil.
Neil Burton was an amazing driving instrcutor, previously i had never driven before and he helped me learn from scratch all the way, and beyond, test level. This left me feeling very confident when it came to my test. Would recommend for all abilities.
